Well, currently the economy is in the tank and unemployment is up. March Madness has arrived. The NHL and NBA are heading to their respective playoffs and of course, Baseball is about to open the 2009 season. After the past eight years, people are looking to get away and relax, if not for only a little while.
The Right appears to want everyone to believe the “sky is falling” and only they know what to do. Maybe that is true but, only the base is listening. The Left says relax, we have everything under control. Right now, I believe that is what the average American wants to hear. With the Iraq War still ongoing and a plan by President Obama to increase our presence in Afghanistan, the actions of the North Korean madman are falling on deaf ears.
I do not know which side is more truthful. I do believe the Right needs to straighten their ship. If they continue on this course, no one will listen and I would hate a truly important message to be missed only because we have become tone deaf to their side. As for the Left, they have the show. My urgent message, do not become complacent as the previous administration did. The trust of the American People can be very fleeting.
That’s my view.

Hmmmmm I agree. I support him now but if he fails the way Bush did I will think differently awefully quick. But, that being said, even if to a fault, I truely believe that President Obama has our nations very best interest in mind to the very core of who he is, and I also truely believe that if he failed in the manner Bush did he will not only admit to it (which the Bush administration never had the courage to do) but would take any appropriate action necessary to correct it. WHEW!!!! let me breathe...OK. I feel safer then I have felt since I was under the Clinton administration. I worked for the government during the Clinton administration and lived under George Bushes governing of Texas while under that employment and I did not re-enlist because I saw Gulf War II coming like a pitcher that tips his pitches while digging in his glove. I am not going to claim I had information on the attacks because obviously I was not privy to that level of intelligence but it didn't take a rocket scientist to figure that he had an agenda that was oh so familiar (i.e. Bush senior right wing opposition that felt we should have taken Saddam out in Gulf War I) but at least daddy had enough brains to see the convenience of leaving him alone. I know Saddam was a bad man, and I agree the world is a better place without him, but there are alot of terible leaders the U.S supports and most are for reasons that would make the ordinary citizen want to puke, and this is why it was absolutely wrong to do what we did. Right now we are not moral leaders, we have so many moral problems in this country and the last thing that idiot (W) should have done was to pick a fight with another soveriegn nation when the only thing that could be proven was that Saddam was a reaaly bad guy. You know you don't always have to show your DICK all the time to convince everyone it is LARGE! You just have to use it the right way when you necessary and the rest of time treat others (nations) with the same respect we would want in return and all of a sudden you create a myth about how big it really is and then the rest (nations) will inevitably buy in. Don't believe me? Watch school play grounds and tell me that isn't true. What you think thats different because it is highschool? Are you serious? What is your job like? Feel like highschool sometimes?????? Free your mind and your ass will follow!?!?!?!?!
